double exposure

This is my double exposure work , for this project we gathered images of different textures . what we did was chose some of our favourite texture images and overplayed them over the top of our portrait images . then we edited the texture image so it would work better but i wanted to make mine more abstract and less normal  because i like work like that and thinks it looks very good . i changed the saturation and hue for this to get the more abstract photo . next time i would like to use some different textures and make it less abstract and maybe use an insect e.t.c

homework photos of textures and close up images

artist research

I researched the artist  Antonio mora , his work is very abstarct and i really like his work and would like my work to look like his . when i do my next project i am going to be inspired by him and do my work like his . one of the things i really like about his work is that he does his work differently in each piece of his work like for example in  the images above each one is in the same style but are completely different . i think his work really has emotion to it and shows what he is maybe feeling like .

Erin Case

This lesson we researched the photography artist Erin Case an artist who takes portrait photos of people and then collects a series of landscape photos and places them inside the portrait photos . By doing this  it creates a  lasting effect and is very contrast to any other normal portrait photo so far i really like this style of art

Above i have included a few of erin cases artwork as you can see  she is a very contrast artist and includes a vary of different styles . Her artwork makes me feel very different because she is using someones face and turning it into a landscape this gives me the idea that you can be anything you want no matter who you are . The artist has made this piece by collaging different images together and using different layers and filters.  The thing i like most about the artist work is that she is such a contrast artist and she really expresses her individuality through her photos and art , i also like the way that each and every portrait has a different landscape behind it like as though they all have a different story for each person i also really like the edits she uses for the landscapes like for example in the first photo i have included she uses a filter which creates an echo effect she also keeps the hairstyles in her portraits too and the outline of the body .
when i do my portrait project i am going to be inspired by erin cars work and i am going to use a very contrast effect and i am going to use lots of different filters for my landscape because i really like the way she does that .

landscape stitch

my final piece

This is my final landscape stitch for this project I took inspiration of David Hockney i picked things off his work and put them on on mine. to finish it off i added my stitch portrait to it . i also experimented with filters and layers to add effect as i added more filters and layers i liked them more and more. to explore it more i would like to adfd more colours throughout  by doing this it will add  more depth however overall I'm really happy with my work next .
